The client is an international market leader in real estate succeeding $17 billion in sales each year.
The client requires a specific and unique skill set to head up their residential team which is positioned in the development arm. Candidates who have solid understanding of the London residential market will be suitable. Architects who have cut their teeth in practice and have moved into client side would be ideal and have developed into strong project, design and team leaders. You must have strong commercial acumen and understand the commercial aspect of design. Schemes are high density new builds concentrating on areas around the clients existing real estate portfolio. You will be the bridge between the design, development and contracting arm of the business. Fluid, collaborative and communicative are essential qualities. This is a balanced role requiring both planning, technical and delivery experience including design with that all important commercial awareness. Ability to lead, influence and understand strategic value adding design are desired credentials.
Salary £100k-£120k
